I have been working in the Computer Graphics industry since the mid 90's. During these years I have been involved in a wide diversity of projects, such as vfx for tv commercials, animated and live action tv series, animated short films and animated feature films. I have also covered a wide range of job positions, such as CEO and CG Supervisor at the company I founded in year 2000, Producer and Director of some animated tv commercials and short films, 3D Generalist for tv commercials, Senior and Lead lighting positions on animated feature films and even teacher at some schools and universities. That variety of jobs has provided me with a pretty good understanding of the process of creating computer animation projects, not only from the technical and artistic point of view but also as a business. For many years I was in charge of small to medium size teams which also helped me to develop management skills.
I currently work as Lighting Technical Director at Pixar.
